The hermiguan city council has converted the San Juan area in “Las Cabezadas” into a meeting point, a privileged viewing point from which to watch the green “Garajonay”, the Upper Valley and the Lower Valley of Hermigua with its bay and the davit and across Tenerife with the Teide.

Residents and visitors dispose of an area with a large square with benches and planters integrated into the walls, a large pergola in which tables, grills, sinks and a wood stove are sheltered. In addition, soon you can enjoy a kiosk. All these facilities have been implemented following the techniques and using traditional materials in the area, getting a full integration into the landscape. Upstairs is the Hermitage of San Juan with its square, to overlook the valley on 360 degrees.
